E-learning in Dealing with Prevention and Dissemination Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Policies

The spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is increasingly widespread in Indonesia. Instruction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia recommends that all communities study, work and worship in their respective homes and the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2020 concerning Prevention of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) in Education Units. Under those circumstances, acting Director of the Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur issued Circular Letter Acting. Director Number: E / AST / DIR / 000/001/03/20 concerning Prevention of Corona Virus Disease Spread (Covid-19) at the Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur Campus.

    

One of the details in the Circular Letter is to change the process of face-to-face lectures in the classroom and in the laboratory to e-learning using the Learning Management System (LMS) via https://elearning.budiluhur.ac.id. This activity is valid from March 16 to April 11 2020 and will be re-evaluated afterwards.

   

This e-learning is expected to keep students at home and study so as to reduce the risk of spreading Corona Virus (Covid-19) and lectures keep proceed in the even semester 2019/2020. Hopefully the Covid-19 pandemic will end soon and the academy can return to normal as usual. Ameen.

The Temporary Suspension of Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur Campus Activities In Preventing The Spread of Covid-19

According to the appeal of the Governor of the Jakarta Special Capital Region (Daerah Khusus Ibukota-DKI) March 20, 2020 with Letter Number 6 of 2020 concerning Temporary Termination of Office Activities in Order to Prevent the Spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19), acting Director of the Academy of Secretariat Budi Luhur issued Circular Number : E / AST / DIR / 000/002/03/20 concerning Temporary Suspension of Activities at Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur in Order to Prevent the Spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19). The Circular letter instructs the entire civitas academy of the Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur the following matters:

  1. All administration activities at the Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur are serviced by online (Working From Home), so that office activities are closed temporarily.
  2. Structural officials, lecturers, and staff Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur implemented working online from home (Working From Home).
  3. Security, technicians, and Cleaning Service at the Budi Luhur campus continue to carry out their duties with a minimum composition (number of employees, working hours, and operational facilities). It is arranged under the coordination of the Directorate General  and Shift Commander with the consideration on Circular Letter of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia March 17th , 2020 Number of N / 3 / HK.04 / III / 2020 concerning Worker / Labor Protection and Business Continuity in the Prevention and Countermeasure of COVID.
  4. This instruction is valid for 14 days from March 23, 2020 to April 5, 2020 and will be re-evaluated thereafter.

Handover ceremony of Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur Director

The organization structure changes of Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur is proceed in the even Semester year academic of 2019/2020. Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur Director is Bapak Dr. Ir. Wendi Usino, M.M. M.Sc, he also serves as Rektor of Universitas Budi Luhur. Bapak Dr. Ir. Wendi Usino, M.M. M served as the daily executor (plt) director of the Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur. The intention is proceed of the plan to merge the Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur into the Universitas Budi Luhur academic community. Pendidikan Budi Luhur Cakti Foundation decree states that Bapak Dr. Ir. Wendi Usino, M.M. M.Sc is taken office on February 8, 2020.

 

The Handover ceremony was held in the parallel of the even semester 2019/2020 lecture coordination meeting on Thursday 27 February 2020 in the mini office laboratory room of the Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur. The handing over of duties and responsibilities of director ibu Fenti Sofiani, S.Pd., M.M period of 2014 – 2020 was received by Bapak Dr. Ir. Wendi Usino, M.M., M.Sc. as daily executor (plt) Director. This event was attended by  Civitas Academica of Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur.

Briefing for Internship and Final Project of Second Semester Academic Year 2019/2020

On Monday, January 20, 2020 at the Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur, Briefing for Internship and Final Project of Second Semester Academic Year 2019/2020 was held for students class of 2017 who will do internships and prepare Final Project reports. This activity is routinely carried out before students do internships and compile Final Project reports. For this year, it was held in Room 7.2.3 attended by Ms. Fenti Sofiani, S.Pd., MM as The Director, Mr. Achmad Syarif, ST, M.Kom as the Head of the Study Program, Mr. Rizky Eka Prasetya, S.Hum., M.Hum as the Head of Student Achievement Services and 39 students of 2017 class.

    

Ms. Fenti Sofiani, S.Pd., M.M and Mr. Achmad Syarif, S.T., M.Kom provided guidance on materials that must be prepared and carried out during the internship, how to prepare final project reports, as well as technical guidance with the supervisor of final project reports. Mr. Rizky Eka Prasetya, S.Hum., M.Hum informed about the results of the achievement evaluation points collected by students.

Congratulations on carrying out internship assignments for students who will be apprenticing in the Second Semester of 2019/2020, hopefully they can work well and always maintain and apply the values ​​of culture in the internship. Aamiin.

Inauguration and Handover Position Chairman of the Senat and Himastri 2020

On Monday, January 20, 2020 at The Budi Luhur Akademi Sekretari’s, the inauguration and handover of positions of the student organization (ORMAWA) leaders of The Budi Luhur Akademi Sekretari’s Senat and The Budi Luhur Akademi Sekretari’s Himastri for the 2020/2021 period were held. This time the event was hosted by Merlyn Geovani Lase and Avifa Salsabila Rusdiana (class of 2017 students) as the MC who started the event by reading the composition of the program. The program continued with singing Indonesia Raya and Mars Budi Luhur, followed by remarks from Ms. Fenti Sofiani, S.Pd., M.M. (Director) and Mr. Achmad Syarif, S.T., M.Kom. (Head of the Study Program). Then the program was proceeded with the submission of the previous period’s financial and activity accountability reports submitted by Parasvana Dwiyana Putri (Chair of Himastri) and Nadia Melinda (Treasurer of Himastri). Then, proceeded with the submission of activity reports and financial accountability of the Senat of the previous period submitted by Sandra Mila Dewi (Chair of the Senat) and Ega Tamara Putri (Senat Treasurer).

The event then continued with the announcement of the elected Senat and Himastri chairmen for the period 2020/2021. Before it was announced, Mr Rizky Eka Prasetya, S.Hum., M.Hum. (Head of Student Achievement Services and Alumni Careers) conveyed information about the selection process that has been carried out. This year’s election of Senat and Himastri chairpersons were carried out thoroughly for the academics of Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur which involved students, educators, and lecturers. This selection used the Google form App.

    

The selection of the head of the Senat and Himastri Ormawa began with the Leadership Basic Training (LDK) which took place on January 13-14, 2020 at Budi Luhur Villa, Gunung Bunder. From the selection, four candidates were chosen, namely for Himastri, Nadya Rachmadilla Putri and Fitriani Dewi Mariska, while for the Senat were Ade Novitasari and Aretha Aulia Sauzan.

The active voters of The Budi Luhur Akademi Sekretari’s academics numbered 130 people with 109 voters exercising their rights. The online election results obtained by elected chairmen of Himastri were Nadya Rachmadilla Putri with 78 votes (71%) and Fitriani Dewi Mariska with 31 votes (29%) while the elected Senat chairman were Aretha Aulia Sauzan with 75 votes (69%) and Ade Novitasari with 34 votes (31%).

   

Congratulations to the elected Senat and Himastri chairmen for the 2020/2021 period. Hopefully they can carry out the mandate, responsibility, and duties for the next year, always maintain and apply the values ​​of culture. Aamiin.
