Table Manner Course for The Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur’s Students Class of 2017

Salam Budi Luhur…….!!

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, the ethic training in the form of the table manner course was held for the students of the 2017 class of The Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur (semester 5). This short training was held at the Pawon Ballroom of Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel Jakarta, attended by 43 female students and accompanied by Mr. Rizky Eka Prasetya, S.Hum., M.Hum as a lecturer and Ms. Maria Goretti da Cunha, SE as the staff of the The Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur. The series of activities began with the opening by Mr. Umri as the F&B Manager and Mr. Robbi as the Operational Manager of the Grand Sahid Hotel. Mr. Umri as the instructor at this activity provided guidelines for correct and proper eating and drinking procedures by using suitable eating utensils while attending a banquet with co-workers or invited guests, especially with fellow leaders.

The participants had the opportunity to have table manner knowledge in theory and practice. They can try directly using the type of cutlery and tasting types of appetizers (Appetizer), main meals (Main Course) and desserts (Dessert). The entire menu was prepared and cooked by Mr Ketut as the Executive Chef of the Grand Sahid Hotel in Jakarta.

     

     

The participants had the opportunity to tour the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel in Jakarta, guided by Mr. Robby. At 15:00 WIB students returned to the The Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur Campus.

    

This activity is expected to provide benefits to the students of The Akademi Sekretari Budi Luhur so that they will not only become smart secretaries in thinking, but also have ethics in business manner (table manner) when working later.
